Policies – General
The health and
safety of our clients is our top priority. Should you have any
questions or concerns regarding your exercise program or any Mindful
Movement Studio policies, please feel free to consult with Miriam
Resnick, owner.
Classes are
ongoing and drop-ins are welcome. Many classes fill so it’s a good
idea to call ahead (317-257-6463) to reserve your spot in class.
Packages expire
in 3 or 5 months. Packages are transferable.
Occasionally it
will be necessary for an instructor to miss a class. The class will be
taught by a suitable and qualified substitute instructor.
All prices,
services and hours of operation at Mindful Movement Studio are subject
to change without notification. Please call to confirm current rates,
services and hours of operation. We are here to assist you in planning
the body conditioning experience that best suits your needs.
Allergies
Because some
clients may suffer from environmental allergies, we request that you
refrain from wearing perfumes, colognes, hairsprays and fragrances to
the studio.
Attire
Wear comfortable
exercise clothes (but not oversized tops) to allow your instructor to
observe your alignment. Shoes are not worn in the studio. The lobby
area has shelves under the benches for your shoes.
Food
Mat exercises
should be preformed on an empty stomach. Ideally, wait three to four
hours after a large meal, one to two hours after a light snack.
Health
Conditions
Inform the
instructor of any serious health conditions such as neck, back or
joint injuries, heart disease, high blood pressure, recent surgery and
pregnancy.
Medications
Do not practice
under the influence of alcohol or drugs (including prescribed drugs)
which may alter your ability to judge your physical capabilities.
Menstrual
Cycle and Pregnancy
Female students
should advise their instructors if they are having their period or if
they are pregnant so that the instructor may modify their exercise
program during class.

Mindful Movement
Studio is a place of tranquility. Since serenity is so important for
mind body conditioning we ask that you respect the privacy of other
students and their wish to experience personal renewal in complete
tranquility. We ask that your noise level not disturb our other
students. Please refrain from the use of cellular phones and pagers.
